The 20-year-old was one of dozen players placed on the transfer list by Posh manager Darren Ferguson at the end of the season. Potter, who spent last season on-loan at Kettering, will move to the Blue Square Premier outfit on a permanent basis when he returns from his holiday in Egypt for a fee in the region of £25,000. He told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "Although I suspected it was coming, when I was told I was to be transfer listed it was still a massive disappointment to me. "But I cannot really question Darren Ferguson's judgement as he has done fantastically well taking the club up to the Championship in just two seasons. "It has still left me feeling gutted, though, that I will not be a part of it all with Peterborough."
