Peterborough captain Grant McCann will again be given a late fitness test ahead of the visit of Notts County. McCann returned to the starting line-up in the 2-1 win over MK Dons on Saturday after missing the Carling Cup defeat to Swansea with a muscle strain but is still not 100% fit. New loan signing Matt Gill could continue in midfield after impressing on his debut at the weekend. He was signed on loan from Norwich as a replacement for James Wesolowski, who is suffering from knee ligament damage, but is short of match fitness and could struggle to make two games in four days. Former Wolves full-back Mark Little could return to the starting line-up after making his comeback from a knee injury as a late substitute against the Dons, but Ryan Bennett and Lee Frecklington remain sidelined with knee injuries of their own.
