Posh striker up for award
Peterborough's in-demand striker Craig Mackail-Smith has been nominated for the npower League One player of the year award.
Mackail-Smith is a transfer target for Norwich and took his tally to 27 for the season in midweek with a goal in the emphatic 4-1 win at Sheffield Wednesday.
The former Dagenham & Redbridge forward is up against Brighton striker Glenn Murray and Charlton`s Bradley Wright-Phillips for the award, which will be announced on March 20.
