Posh reveal Le Fondre bid failure
Le Fondre, who turns 23 on Wednesday, has been in sensational form so far this term, scoring 12 goals in 16 starts for the League Two side.[LNB]And MacAnthony told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "We did put an offer in for Le Fondre, who is a great goalscorer, but we were told he's not for sale so that's the end of that.[LNB]"We could have bought him for a lot less last summer, but the previous manager (Darren Ferguson) didn't want him at that time."[LNB][LNB]
