Posh ready to fight for promotion
Craig Mackail-Smith's 25th minute goal helped the Posh maintain their four point advantage over third-place MK Dons, although Roberto Di Matteo's side do have a game in hand.
And Ferguson admits that his side is prepared to fight to the death to secure their place in the Championship.
"I've always thought the promotion race would go right down to the final game of the season and that is still the case," he said.
"We know that we will be promoted if we can win our final three games and we have managed the first part.
"Everything now comes down to a two-match season and we are prepared for every situation. I have always maintained that if we put in the right performances, we will pick up results."
