Posh low on numbers

Peterborough boss Gary Johnson will be without a host of first team players for the Carling Cup visit of Swansea. James Wesolowski was forced out of the action 39 minutes into the draw with Exeter on Saturday and he joins a growing list of names on the treatment table. Other names on the list currently include Ryan Bennett, Mark Little and Lee Frecklington who all have knee injuries, and Aaron Davies who continues to struggle with a hamstring problem. Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi is likely to replace Wesolowski and there may also be starts for Dave Hibbert and Lee Tomlin after he netted his first goal for the club since he arrived from Rushden in the summer. Gabriel Zakuani will continue to partner Kelvin Langmead in the centre of defence in the absence of Bennett who is still a few weeks away from fitness.
