Posh land Rose on loan from Spurs
The 19-year-old was a target for a number of clubs but has put pen to paper with Posh and will be added to the squad for Tuesday night's Championship visit of Plymouth Argyle to London Road if he gets clearance in time.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson has also let Ben Wright and Billy Crook leave on one-month loan deals.
Striker Wright, who only recently returned from an ankle injury, has joined Luton while rookie midfielder Crook has linked up with Histon.
