Posh held in `super-show'
Peterborough manager Gary Johnson described his side's 2-2 draw at Exeter as "a super football match".
Daniel Nardiello cancelled out Exeter defender Troy Archibald-Henville's first-half own goal early in the second period and then Jamie Cureton put the home side in front before Posh striker Lee Tomlin equalised in the 82nd minute.
Johnson said: "It was a super football match and we were proud to be a part of it. When it is finished and the supporters go home with a point, then both teams will probably be disappointed, but proud in the fact that they produced a really good football match, which is what it was.
"Hopefully both sets of fans have gone away ok about it. At 1-0 up, we were hoping to win and they would have taken a draw at that point and when we were 2-1 down, we would have taken a point.
"When it went to 2-2, we all looked at the clock and thought sod it, let's go for it. That's what made a frantic finish.
"They have their own shape, which makes them dangerous and we have ours. They had some good spells and we had some good spells, but we will take a lot from that game and so will they. We are the team that was away from home though so it was probably a slightly better result for us."
