Striker Rendell is set to join the Gulls on a season-long loan deal and the two clubs have agreed a fee for central defender Charnock. Posh director of football Barry Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "We have accepted a bid from Torquay for Charnock plus plenty of add-ons should he be a success down there. Torquay have offered him a two-year contract, but he has yet to agree to the move. "Scott did originally turn Torquay down. He's not keen on a permanent move there, but he has agreed to join on a year-long loan, for which we have received a fee."
