Ferguson retains MacAnthony's support despite a sluggish start to the season and the chairman believes the recent signings of Ryan Bennett and Scott Griffiths prove that they are tackling the problems at London Road.[LNB]He told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "If the truth be told nobody on and off the field has been good enough, or up to the standards we have set over the last two years, this season, apart from our fans who have had to endure this horrible start to this campaign.[LNB]"There is no doubt that we have the talent in our camp to compete and do well at this level, but we need to cut out these same ridiculous mistakes and start grinding out results.[LNB]"The fact is that we have led in nearly 40% of our games this season and gone on to either lose or draw those games by making the same stupid mistakes and often it's the same players who have made those mistakes defensively, which is why I forked out £700,000 a couple of weeks ago for two new defenders.[LNB]"Getting promoted to the Championship was the easy bit, Now the manager and his staff and the players have to show and prove that they are good enough to be here."[LNB][LNB]
