Full squad available for Ferguson Peterborough had everyone training on Thursday ahead of the visit of in-form Wolves. Grant McCann was thought to be nursing a calf injury following the 2-1 home defeat to Bristol City on Tuesday night but the Northern Ireland international was present along with fellow midfielder Danny Swanson, who has been struggling with a thigh problem. Tommy Rowe also trained following his long lay-off with a fractured collarbone sustained during pre-season but the defender is probably lacking fitness and is unlikely to be involved at the weekend. Boss Darren Ferguson made three changes - all in defence - for the game against Bristol City. Captain Gaby Zakuani and Kgosi Ntlhe were recalled following the 5-2 defeat at Burnley while summer signing Nathaniel Knight-Percival was handed his Championship debut. However, defensive errors cost Posh again as they slumped to a sixth straight league loss and Ferguson is considering making changes again. "It's obvious certain players need to be taken out of the firing line," he said. "I've tried to get players in on loan, but for one reason or another it hasn't worked out. They have to be the right players though, I won't sign people just for the sake of it." Wolves boss Stale Solbakken is again likely to freshen up his starting XI. Following last weekend's impressive victory over Leicester, Solbakken rotated his ranks to hand starts to Bjorn Sigurdarson, Razak Boukari and Dave Edwards for Wednesday's 2-0 win at Ipswich. Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Tongo Doumbia and Slawomir Peszko were the three to make way at Portman Road but they, among others, can expect to be in firm contention to start against Posh. "I think you have to do that in the Championship," Solbakken told the club's official website. "I made three changes and two of them (Sigurdarson and Boukari) played their first game from the start in the league. "They need to get used to the Championship and I think there will be more changes on Saturday." Long-term absentee Wayne Hennessey (knee) is the only player missing, with the goalkeeper tipped to return around the end of October.
