Swanson in Posh frame

Danny Swanson comes back into the reckoning for Peterborough as they prepare to face fellow play-off contenders Rotherham.

Swanson is available again after serving a two-match suspension but the midfielder may have trouble getting back into the side following a strong team performance in a 2-0 victory at MK Dons last weekend.

Lloyd Isgrove is also competing for a starting spot. The 21-year-old winger, signed on loan from Southampton, made his debut as a late substitute in Milton Keynes.

With Wembley on the horizon at the end of the month Michael Bostwick will have to watch his step against both the Millers and Preston next Tuesday evening as a yellow card in either game would see the midfielder miss the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final against Chesterfield through suspension.

Rotherham will be without Mark Bradley for Steve Evans' 100th game in charge.

The right-back has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury suffered at Oldham last week after scans showed he requires surgery.

James Tavernier will return to the side after an ankle problem kept him out of last weekend's 1-1 draw with Walsall and he will slot in at right-back, with Richard Brindley dropping out of the side.

Striker Wes Thomas, who came off against the Saddlers with a twinge in his thigh, is struggling to be fit.
