Ferguson ponders formation change for Forest Manager Darren Ferguson has a fully-fit squad to choose from as Peterborough look for their first home league win of the season against Nottingham Forest. Posh finally kick-started their npower Championship campaign last weekend with a 3-1 victory at Hull, and an unchanged side from the KC Stadium followed that up with a 2-0 success at Barnsley on Tuesday night. Ferguson experimented with a new formation against Hull - playing three centre-halves - and stuck with it at Oakwell. He must now decide whether to change things in front of their own fans at London Road on Saturday. "The formation we have used in the last two games worked perfectly, but it is a different challenge at home where more patience might be required," said Ferguson. "But I have a fully-fit squad to choose from and I will assess the fitness levels of the squad in the next 24 hours. The players that performed in the reserve team game did very well so they also come into my thinking for the Forest game." Captain and centre-half Gaby Zakuani, midfielders Lee Frecklington, Joe Newell, Danny Swanson and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and forward Lee Tomlin all started that reserve team friendly on Wednesday afternoon. Nottingham Forest's attacking options are boosted by the return from suspension of Simon Cox. Sean O'Driscoll's side were hardly overwhelmed with options against Blackburn in midweek with Cox and Dexter Blackstock banned and Marcus Tudgay recovering from a hernia operation. Billy Sharp was the only recognised striker on duty on Wednesday night. Cox missed the goalless stalemate with Rovers after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season during Sunday's defeat to east midlands rivals Derby and he is likely to be restored to the starting line-up at London Road. Blackstock will serve the second game of a three-match suspension following his red card against the Rams while Sam Hutchinson is a doubt due to a lack of match fitness. Midfielder Adlene Guedioura also comes back into the reckoning after completing his three-game ban. Jermaine Jenas made his first appearance in a Forest shirt for just over a decade as a second-half substitute against Blackburn and the on-loan Tottenham midfielder will be hoping for another run-out on Saturday.
