Taylor in Posh frame
Jon Taylor comes back into the reckoning for Peterborough as Posh prepare to begin their home campaign against rivals MK Dons.
Taylor missed the Capital One Cup defeat at Portsmouth in midweek with a knee problem but the forward, a summer signing from Shrewsbury, is fit and available to make his London Road debut.
Manager Darren Ferguson learned this week he will be without first-choice centre-halves Jack Baldwin (knee) and Gabby Zakuani (calf) for about a month after both players were injured in the League One opener at Rochdale. They join Joe Newell (broken toe) and Erhun Oztumer on the sidelines.
Michael Bostwick and 19-year-old Ricardo Santos were the central defensive pairing against Pompey and, unless Ferguson can bring someone in on loan, that will also be the case on Saturday.
Samir Carruthers will be the only absentee for the Dons.
The midfielder's wait to make his first appearance for the club since making a permanent move to Milton Keynes will be prolonged as he is still nursing a thigh strain.
Boss Karl Robinson made two changes from the side that started the opening league game against Gillingham when his side lined up against AFC Wimbledon in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night, with Daniel Powell and Benik Afobe replacing Dean Bowditch and Will Grigg.
Bowditch and Grigg will be hoping to force their way back into the team, while Mark Randall, George Baldock and Tom Hitchcock are also options for Robinson.
