McCann concern for Posh

Grant McCann is an injury doubt for Peterborough ahead of the visit of npower Championship leaders Crystal Palace.

McCann came off just after the hour mark during the 1-0 defeat at Brighton on Tuesday night because of a groin problem and the Northern Ireland international midfielder will continue to be monitored.

Posh hope striker Emile Sinclair (thigh) will be available for selection after missing the last two matches.

However, left wing-back Tommy Rowe is more likely to recover from his ankle injury in time for the home game against Blackburn on November 17.

Kgosi Ntlhe (broken ankle) is set to undergo a scan to determine the extent of the damage. The South African defender suffered the injury against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend and is expected to join Peter Grant (knee) as a long-term absentee.

Crystal Palace are likely to be unchanged again for the trip.

New manager Ian Holloway named the same starting line-up against Ipswich on Tuesday which had beaten Blackburn the previous weekend, and was rewarded with a 5-0 win which took them to the top of the Championship.

Striker Glenn Murray, who has scored five goals in his last two matches including a hat-trick in midweek, will lead the line again with wingers Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha for support.

Defender Paddy McCarthy is still out with a groin injury and midfielder Jonathan Williams is building up his fitness after various niggles.

Holloway has allowed young striker Ibra Sekajja to join MK Dons on loan.
