Selection poser for Robertson

Peterborough manager Dave Robertson must decide whether to recall midfielder Harry Beautyman and defender Shaun Brisley against Crawley.

Beautyman and Brisley were unused substitutes in the 2-0 opening-day defeat at Rochdale due to a thigh injury and illness respectively.

Robertson will monitor defenders Michael Smith and Ricardo Santos, who both missed out at the weekend due to knocks, with new loan signing Alex Davey poised to resume after making his debut at Rochdale.

Midfielder Jack Collison could make his full debut after his impressive display off the bench on Saturday.

Crawley manager Mark Yates is unlikely to make many changes from the side that drew 1-1 at Oxford on Saturday after praising his team's performance.

Summer signings Freddie Woodman and Liam Donnelly are expected to retain their places after making their debuts, while full-back Bryan van den Bogaert is available for selection after finalising his transfer to the club. Defender Lanre Oyebanjo (cartilage) and forward Gavin Tomlin (hernia) remain long-term absentees.

Striker Izale McLeod is again set to be left out, as he was for Saturday's fixture, owing to Notts County and Southend's interest in signing him.

"The game plan we had the boys absolutely nailed it and they were brilliant and I commend them all," said Yates of Saturday's draw.
