Little worry for Posh

Mark Little is an injury doubt for Peterborough ahead of Colchester's visit to London Road.

Little came off early in the second half of the 5-4 defeat to Oldham last weekend with a shoulder problem and the defender will be assessed by the Posh medical team ahead of this weekend.

Forward Lee Tomlin is definitely out following his red card at Boundary Park. He begins a three-match suspension.

Striker Conor Washington could make his debut for the club after arriving from Newport, while Joe Day may be replaced in goal by Rob Olejnik after conceding eight goals in the last two games.

Colchester will have to replace Luke Garbutt.

The highly-regarded on-loan left-back was recalled by parent club Everton this week and duly featured on the bench in their 4-0 Merseyside derby thumping at Liverpool.

Ryan Dickson is likely to come in for Garbutt at London Road as the U's, who have not been in action for two weeks, look to record a third successive victory for the first time since October 2012.

Long-term absentee Gavin Massey played 45 minutes in a midweek friendly and could make the bench, while defender Alie Sesay is still awaiting his debut having arrived on loan from Leicester.
