Swanson suspended for Posh

Peterborough will be without the suspended Danny Swanson when Bristol City visit London Road.

The midfielder must serve a two-match ban after receiving his 10th yellow card of the season during the 4-2 home victory over Crewe on Saturday.

Nathaniel Knight-Percival will come back into contention if the swelling around his eye has sufficiently subsided. The defender suffered the facial injury during the defeat at Crawley on March 1 and has missed the last two games.

The likes of Craig Alcock, Jack Baldwin, Jack Payne, Joe Newell and Josh McQuoid provide options for Posh boss Darren Ferguson but striker Kyle Vassell remains on the sidelines with a broken toe.

Bristol City defender Aden Flint is a doubt for the trip.

The centre-back injured his knee in the 3-2 win over Shrewsbury and the Robins will now the extent of the problem ahead of kick-off at London Road with Karleigh Osborne ready to deputise if the former Swindon man fails to make it.

One player who will definitely miss out is goalkeeper Simon Moore. The Cardiff loanee is suffering with a groin injury and so Frank Fielding will deputise once more for Steve Cotterill.

Tyrone Barnett is unavailable as part of the loan deal which saw the striker arrive at Ashton Gate earlier this season.
