Mclean may make it

Peterborough manager Gary Johnson could be handed an unexpected boost by having striker Aaron Mclean available for the trip to Bournemouth. Mclean was carried off with a knee injury after scoring in the 4-1 Carling Cup win over Rotherham in midweek and feared that he could be out for some time. But X-rays and an MRI scan revealed no fracture or soft tissue injury and the forward was due to train with the team on Friday as normal. Captain Grant McCann returns from international duty with Northern Ireland and will replace Charlie Lee in midfield as Johnson contends with several long-term injuries. Defender Gabriel Zakuani has a groin injury while midfielder Lee Frecklington (knee) and winger Chris Whelpdale (thigh) are also still not ready for the first-team.
