Mackail-Smith targets goal trail

Peterborough striker Craig Mackail-Smith is confident that the club's relegation will signal a return to his best goalscoring form. Mackail-Smith managed just 11 goals last season as Posh struggled in the Championship but hit 26 the year before during their promotion from League One. He said: "I don't want to put myself under any pressure, but I have to admit I would be disappointed not to emulate what I did the last time we were in League One. "It would be brilliant if I could even better it with a few more goals and I think we are going to get plenty of chances. "We have some great attacking weapons all over the pitch and I don't think there will be any shortage of crosses or through balls for the front players. "Dave Hibbert provides another great option. He will also contribute a lot, as will George Boyd. We have the ability to score a lot of goals from a lot of different areas."
