Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson insists he has the best striker in League One on his books in the form of Craig Mackail-Smith. Posh will come up against another of the top scorers in the league this weekend in Charlton's Bradley Wright-Phillips, but Ferguson is convinced he has the most potent strikeforce in the third tier. He said: "I would want Craig in my team ahead of any other striker. His goals record is exceptional, but he is still under-rated by many people. "They see his incredible work-rate and his pace and tend to think that's all he has, but he has so much more than that to offer. "His hold-up play has improved in his time at the club, his finishing has improved and he is technically so much better now. "There are some good strikers in League One, but Craig is the best of them in my opinion."
