Lee: We`ll bounce back

Peterborough midfielder Charlie Lee is confident of returning to winning ways when Gus Poyet brings his table-topping Brighton side to London Road this weekend. Posh were on the end of a 2-1 defeat at Brentford last Saturday but still lie third in the League One table, and Lee believes they are capable of snatching all three points. He said: "Despite the recent poor performances on the road, we are third in the league and we have to look to the positives. "We know that we are not that far away from getting things spot-on, but we are also fully aware we need to improve. We need to show some fight and you have to be prepared to be battlers at this level - and maybe that's something we are missing a little bit at the minute. "The fact we are so close to the top of the table shows we have played well at times, but we want to be where Brighton are and hopefully by Saturday night we'll be a lot closer to getting there. "The players here know we are capable of achieving promotion this season. We just have to find the consistency required both away and at London Road and when that happens, I feel sure we'll put a real run together. It hasn't quite worked out for us as yet but make no mistake, this squad has the attributes needed."
