Johnson keeping mum
Peterborough boss Gary Johnson revealed their 2-1 derby success over MK Dons sparked an impromptu Mothers' Day at London Road.
Craig Mackail-Smith put Posh in front in the 36th minute although Dean Lewington levelled 60 seconds later.
Aaron Mclean headed home the winner, though, and Johnson said that the win was dedicated to the team's mothers.
Johnson commented: "My mother came up to watch a game for the first time since I have been managing Peterborough. I told the lads that if we won the game, we would dedicate it to all our mums. It certainly seemed to get them going.
"I have to admit we were poor in the first half and took the lead against the run of play. In a weird sort of way I was glad to see Dons level because it meant I could get stuck into the boys at half-time.
"And we were much more like our normal selves in the second half. They did exactly what was asked of them to pick up another important three points at home."
