Porter has been in the job for just over 12 months but has spent five years at London Road in a variety of roles. He has been offered an 'exciting opportunity' down a different career path and is looking forward to starting his new job next week. "I am obviously sad to be leaving Peterborough United because I have enjoyed my time at the club, but I have been offered a very exciting opportunity away from football and I am looking forward to the challenge," Leigh told the club's official website. Chief executive Bob Symns added: "On behalf of the board I would like to thank Leigh for his hard work and dedication over the years. He has always wanted only the very best for the football club and we wish him all the best for the future."
