Ferguson: Win more important than fourth place

Darren Ferguson does not attach much significance to having home advantage in the second leg of the play-offs. Posh need a win against Dagenham on Saturday to secure fourth place and the right to play away first but Ferguson just wants a win after seeing his side lose momentum in recent weeks. He said: "The game against Dagenham won't be easy because they are fighting for their lives and will come at us, but it's an important game for us. "I'm not really bothered about finishing fourth just to ensure we have a home match in the second-leg of the play-off semi-final. "It won't make that much difference, although a night match at London Road with a great atmosphere would suit us. "I just want a win to give us that extra bit of confidence."
