Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson believes that his experience of winning promotion from League One will be crucial in this season's run-in.
Posh returned to the play-off places with a midweek win at Yeovil and are in contention for an instant return to the Championship.
Ferguson guided the club to promotion two years ago and believes that memory will prove decisive in the coming weeks.
"I know what it takes to get out of this division and so do many of my players," he said.
"Scrappy wins while keeping a clean sheet like we achieved at Yeovil are what gets you up, not 5-3 wins over the likes of Sheffield Wednesday.
"You need plenty of character in the squad as well and we definitely have that."
