Ferguson saw his side fall behind after only two minutes and the rock-bottom visitors also hauled themselves level at 2-2 during the second period.[LNB]But a first goal of the season for midfielder Dean Keates and a late George Boyd strike - his second of the night - was enough to lift Posh up into third place in the table.[LNB]Ferguson said: "After Crewe lost so heavily at the weekend we wanted to hit them hard and hit them early, but we ended up making the worst possible start.[LNB]"Our football was excellent at times and it was just a case of being patient to turn things around.[LNB]"Conceding a second goal was a big blow but we underlined the amount of character we have in the dressing-room by going on to win the game."[LNB][LNB]
