Ferguson denied talks with Royals

Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed that manager Darren Ferguson was denied the chance to talk to Championship side Reading.The Royals are looking for a new boss after the departure of Steve Coppell. MacAnthony told the Posh website: "I am not one to be bullied into selling our best assets unless it suits us." Director of football Barry Fry has confirmed Ferguson is no longer on the Royals' four-man shortlist of prospective managers.
