Boyd slams Posh performance

Peterborough striker George Boyd labelled their defeat to Hartlepool as their worst performance of the season. Posh missed the chance to move top of League One after the 2-0 defeat at Victoria Park and Boyd admitted he was disappointed with the poor showing. "Every single one of us knows we were well below par and there is no excuses for that" he told the Peterborough Telegraph. "There was nothing in the game at all in the first half, but we conceded at a really bad time just before half-time and that gave Hartlepool something to hold onto. "I thought we improved a bit in the second half, but it still wasn't good enough. We didn't get on the ball enough and didn't do anything to really hurt Hartlepool."
