Roberts departs Thistle for Ayr

Ayr United have signed Mark Roberts after the 33-year-old striker's departure from Partick Thistle.Roberts had been released by the First Division club along with midfielders Ryan McStay and Pedram Ardalany.Roberts has signed for Second Division Ayr until the end of the season and made his debut in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Raith Rovers.Former Kilmarnock forward Roberts had been with Thistle since leaving Airdrie United in August 2005.Former Falkirk midfielder McStay, 24, has joined Third Divisio.... read more
