Partick Thistle's promotion hopes were dealt a blow after Raith triumphed against the Jags at Stark's Park.Gregory Tade headed over for the home side and on-loan Dundee United striker Johnny Russell fired a shot against the visitors' crossbar in the first half. Thistle goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey denied Mark Ferry and Craig Wilson before Rovers made the breakthrough.
