Akins seals Partick loan switch

Partick Thistle have signed striker Lucas Akins on loan from Hamilton Accies until the summer.The 19-year-old goes was added to the First Division side's squad to face Queen of the South on Saturday.Thistle manager Ian McCall said: "He is a young lad with a real physical presence and is exactly the type of player we have been looking for."Akins, who made his debut for Huddersfield aged 17, joined Accies after his release last summer.He has played 13 times for the Scottish Premier League outfit t.... read more
