12 February 2011 18:44
Late show stuns Thistle Allan Johnston's last-minute equaliser earned Queen of the South a dramatic 3-3 draw with Partick. The visitors opened the scoring after 32 minutes when Martin Grehan's 20-yard strike beat keeper David Hutton and Kris Doolan doubled their advantage four minutes before half-time after he converted from close range. The home side were given hope just prior to the break as William McLaren halved the deficit, finishing Derek Holmes` cross from six yards. Thistle thought they had wrapped up the three points after 83 minutes when Iain Flannigan scored from 12 yards but McLaren pulled a goal back four minutes later with his second of the game from 12 yards. Johnston then earned his side a valuable point with a tap-in from close range in the final minute.
