Bannigan missing for Thistle

Partick will be without the suspended Stuart Bannigan for their Scottish Premiership game against Ross County.

Bannigan picked up a red card in last week's win against Hearts and sits out the visit of the Dingwall side.

Aaron Muirhead is sidelined through injury, while Isaac Osbourne is unlikely to feature again this season following an ankle operation.

Defender Stephen O'Donnell said: "Ross County are a good side.

"I've played them a few times now.

"I played them in the First Division and they were a good side then and they are a good side now.

"We saw how well they did last season.

"But hopefully if we play to the best of our abilities, we can get the win and go four points clear.

"The home win is overdue for the fans.

"Whether it comes on Saturday or in the coming weeks, we will just have to wait and see."

New signing Filip Kiss will go straight into the Ross County squad.

The Cardiff midfielder has joined the Highland outfit on loan until the end of the season and could make his debut at Firhill.

He said: "I'm happy everything is sorted now and I can't wait for Saturday to get playing."

Steven Saunders remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury ahead of the meeting with the Jags.
