One in, one out for Thistle

Partick welcome back striker Steven Craig from suspension as they look to bounce back from last Friday's 1-0 defeat to Hamilton and make it seven wins from seven games at Firhill by seeing off visitors Livingston.

Thistle are without Paul Paton, who begins a two-match ban, with Scott Fox, Ryan Scully and Sean Welsh all missing out with knocks.

Manager Jackie McNamara said: "I went over and watched Livingston last Saturday against Falkirk and they were very impressive, particularly in the first half.

"We played well against Hamilton but we just could not get a goal to equalise so there is not much we need to change for this one.

"We have been strong at home and hopefully that can continue."

Livingston head to the Firhill fortress with only long-term injury absentees Jason Talbot and Paul Watson missing from their ranks.

First-team coach Gareth Evans, who was advised by the Lions' board on Thursday that he and Richie Burke will remain in charge following manager John Hughes' move to Hartlepool, knows his side face a tough task against the joint-league leaders.

"Thistle have won all their home league games this season so we are up against things," he said. They will also be smarting a bit from losing at Hamilton last Friday as that was a game that they deserved to take something from.

"We played really well in the first half when we won against Falkirk last week and we will need that level of performance for 90 minutes against Partick if we are to do anything."
