Partick captain Abdul Osman helps Mathias Pogba move on from his Paris ordeal

Partick Thistle captain Abdul Osman is confident the family atmosphere at Firhill can help Mathias Pogba move on from his Paris ordeal.

The Thistle striker was at the Stade de France last Friday watching brother Paul taking on Germany when the Paris terror attacks broke out immediately outside the stadium and in other parts of the city.

The forward returned to Glasgow ahead of Monday's training session and is ready to face Inverness in the Ladbrokes Premiership on Saturday after some comforting words from his team-mates and others at the club.

Osman, who also played with Pogba at Crewe, said: "It's a family club and the boys are all together. We are all good with each other.

"I have always kept in contact with him when it happened. I rang him straight away as soon as I heard. I knew he was going to watch his brother so I knew he was in the stadium.

"Everything was fine and since he has come back he has been in good spirits in training.

"The team have been there for him and spoken to him and asked him what happened and how he felt. We are all behind him and I think he is all right.

"They were tragic scenes but he's back now and as long as he's all right mentally all we can do is support him and try and forget about it and get on with playing football."

Partick have Robbie Muirhead and Gary Miller fit again while goalkeeper Ryan Scully is back from suspension but midfielder Stuart Bannigan is banned and Tomas Cerny (ankle) and Christie Elliott (back) remain out.

Inverness, meanwhile, have seen their injury problems ease with Ross Draper (ankle), Andrea Mbuyi-Mutombo (Achilles), Tobi Sho-Silva (hamstring) and Richie Foran (knee) all returning to training while David Raven is back from suspension.

Ryan Christie (knee) has joined Jordan Roberts (groin), Aaron Doran and Dean Brill (both knee) on the sidelines while Dani Lopez is suspended by the club following his under-20s red card.

Goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams is expected to start and though he is still basking in the pride of his Wales debut he knows that he will be judged on his Caley Thistle efforts.

The 28-year-old came off the bench during his country's 1-1 friendly draw against Holland last week.

Williams won 11 under-21 caps and was first called up to the full squad in 2009 and his patience was finally rewarded with a full cap.

But the goalkeeper is looking forward now - starting with the clash against Partick - to make sure he is on the plane to France for next summer's European Championship finals.

"It's been a great week or so," the former Tranmere player said. "It started off with a fantastic win and great performance at Motherwell leading up to the international break.

"I was fortunate away to go away with Wales again and get my first cap, which was a very proud moment for myself and my family and everyone that has been supporting me along the way and helping me get this opportunity.

"I'm honoured and very, very proud to have been on that pitch representing my country.

"For us to go forward we need to put what we have achieved behind us now. We are now looking forward to France and how we go about our business in France."
