Boulding at the double

Rory Boulding bagged a brace as Livingston beat Partick 3-2 at Firhill.

The hosts got off to a flying start when Paul Cairney picked up Aaron Sinclair's pass to fire home in the seventh minute.

But the Lions responded quickly, Ryan Scully pushed an Iain Russell shot away minutes later before Boulding eventually equalised from distance after 20 minutes.

Boulding added his second to put them ahead immediately after the break, poking Stefan Scougall's pass over the line.

John Hughes' side looked to be on course for all three points when Russell added a third three minutes later with a stunning long-range effort.

But Sinclair pulled one back in the 54th minute with a superb free-kick after Keaghan Jacobs felled Stephen O'Donnell just outside the box.

Despite a late fightback, the visitors held firm to claim all three points and record back-to-back victories.
