Jacobs grabs late winner

A last-gasp Kyle Jacobs strike saw Livingston steal all three points and leapfrog opponents Partick with a 2-1 win.

Kenny Deuchar stooped low to meet Jonathan Brown's cross on the half-hour to head Livingston ahead.

Partick responded strongly and David Rowson was denied twice in quick succession by Andrew McNeil in the Livingston goal.

The visitors got their reward early in the second half, Christie Elliot finding the ball at his feet after a goal-mouth scramble and firing home.

Stephen O'Donnell came close for the visitors with a left-footed drive but it was left to Jacobs to secure the victory with a stunning long-range volley that dipped past Scott Fox to extend Livingston's unbeaten run to five.
