Forsyth double punishes Partick Craig Forsyth's quick-fire brace helped Dundee claim a 3-2 win over Partick in an entertaining clash. The first opening fell to Partick when Paul Cairney swung over a corner and found Alan Archibald, whose ambitious overhead kick cleared the crossbar. Dundee burst into life in the second period when Forsyth fired into the top corner in the 59th minute from 12 yards and three minutes later he doubled the advantage with a header from Gary Harkins' cross from similar range. Partick got themselves back into it with Thomas Stewart's 68th minute strike from the edge of the area. But William Kinniburgh's dismissal - for up-ending Forsyth in the box - cost them dear with 20 minutes left as Matthew Lockwood tucked home the penalty to make it 3-2. Kris Doolan poached a goal back in stoppage time from close range but it was a mere consolation.
