Zaccardo brushes off Juve talk

Parma defender Cristian Zaccardo has admitted he is not interested in a transfer away from the club, despite media reports linking Juventus with a swoop for the prized star.

He has found form for the Stadio Ennio Tardini-based outfit this term and although the reports are flattering, he has dismissed the news as pure speculation.

Meanwhile, he is hoping that his fine performances will bring him a return to Marcello Lippi's international set-up ahead of the World Cup finals in South Africa this summer.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.com, he said: "It's always nice to hear these things, but most times it's just fantasy.

"It's good to hear your name close to teams of a certain calibre, but I am happy at Parma.

"I had the luck to be part of the group that went to Germany and we won.

"The coach knows me. If he calls me then I would be really happy."
