Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Juventus: On or off?

Rumours of Zlatan Ibrahimovic's move to his former side Juventus have been played down by the Italian club's CEO - Beppe Moratta.

The talks came about after Zlatan’s agent, Mino Raiola, told La Gazetta dello Sport that if the club were to pursue him in the summer, then they could be successful.

But Moratta’s response was purely financial. He told the Italian media that Ibra would have to take a “radical wage cut” for the move to even be considered an option.

The 31-year-old striker has netted 32 times on 40 occasions for Paris Saint-Germain, proving that he still has the talent to provide for his team at the top level.

If Ibra was to move anywhere, it should definitely be to the Premier league. His impressive scoring tally for this season and with other clubs in previous seasons would certainly attract the prem’s top clubs. He’s physically built for the game. But, not so much mentally – his disciplinary record illustrates that.

He’s taken control of every league he’s played in. Perhaps the Premier League is too much of a challenge for the 31-year-old?

Don’t get me wrong, I believe that he could make an impact, but the English game is quick and extremely physical, which describes his main strengths perfectly. But it’s fair to say that picking up an injury, at his age, is dangerous and extremely costly for the club supporting him.

I think if he left PSG then he would return to AC Milan. He never wanted to leave, and Milan didn’t want to sell him. But after PSG came in with serious money, they shipped the Swede out.

Where do you want to see Zlatan next season?
