Capello rejects PSG contact - report
Russia manager Fabio Capello has dismissed the rumours that he was set to take over at French champions Paris St Germain if Carlo Ancelotti leaves the club.
"I have not had any contact with PSG so far," the Soviet Sport daily quoted the Italian as saying on Tuesday.
But the 66-year-old coach added that he had not rejected the possibility of co-operation with PSG in the future.
"I'm happy in Russia at the moment and I'm pleased with my life and work here," he added.
"But anything is possible in this life, so never say 'never'."
Capello signed a two-year contract with Russia's football federation on July 26, 2012 with the aim of taking the country to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Russia currently top European qualifying group F with 12 points from four matches -- one point ahead of Portugal, whom they play on Friday, and Israel, who share the second spot both after six matches.
Capello previously coached Italian Serie A clubs Milan, Juventus and AS Roma as well as Spanish giants Real Madrid.
In 2007 Capello took over as England manager and remained in the position until February last year, when he stepped down in protest at a Football Association decision to axe Chelsea's John Terry as skipper.
Ancelotti was appointed as PSG manager in January 2012, guiding them to this season's Ligue 1 title.
He announced on May 19 that he wanted to leave the club, without specifying the reason, but PSG bosses have said they hoped he would see out the remaining year on his contract.
