Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti said in an interview published on Thursday that he had not yet decided on his future at the French league champions, estimating his chances of staying at the club as "50/50".
"It's 50/50 at the moment," he was quoted as saying in sports daily L'Equipe. "I've fitted in well here and I'm not someone who likes to change.
"I was disappointed when I left Chelsea (in 2011) and if I left Paris there'd obviously be some sadness. That's normal."
The Italian this season steered PSG to their first French league title in 19 years, attracting the interest of Spanish giants Real Madrid, despite having a year on his contract at the Parc des Prince left to run.
"I haven't spoken to the club yet," he added. "We're going to have a meeting on Friday and we'll see after that. I want to speak to the club first and understand what's happened this season and what's going to happen in the future.
"It's not a question of having more power. My job involves preparing the team well on the pitch. I don't want anything else because the backing of (sporting director) Leonardo is fantastic."
Asked if he wanted to stay on with the French capital club, Ancelotti replied: "Yes, I want to, if it's possible to continue."
"I've seen in the last few days that everyone wants me to stay on. That's understandable. The most important thing is to work in an atmosphere where you feel you've got confidence.
"Everyone knows my situation: I've got a contract with PSG (until 2014). If I want to leave the club I've got to talk to the club. I do things properly and always have done."
