Midfielders Thiago Motta and Mathieu Bodmer and forward Ezequiel Lavezzi have all been declared unfit for Paris Saint-Germain's clash with arch rivals and Ligue 1 leaders Marseille on Sunday.
Motta and Lavezzi have been sidelined by back and adductor muscle injuries respectively, while Bodmer is pursuing his recovery from a left thigh problem.
PSG will also be without suspended centre-back Mamadou Sakho. The France international's absence means Alex is likely to partner Brazilian compatriot Thiago Silva in the centre of defence.
Marseille are three points above second-place PSG ahead of Sunday's game at Stade Velodrome.
