Paris Saint-Germain winger Jeremy Menez has undergone an operation on a slipped disc, a member of the French international's entourage said Tuesday.
According to the source, the operation went well and he should be back in training in three weeks.
It means he should be fit in time for PSG's first match in their Ligue 1 title defence away to Montpellier, the team they deposed in May, on August 9.
He should likewise be fit for France's next friendly on August 14 in Belgium.
