There was good and bad news for Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday as the club announced that Guillaume Hoarau had returned to training but revealed that Blaise Matuidi would be out until 2012.
Defensive midfielder Matuidi, 24, was forced to withdraw in the 42nd minute of PSG's 3-2 defeat of Auxerre on Sunday and a statement on the club website said he had sustained "muscle damage to his left hamstring".
The injury is expected to keep him out of action until the end of the year.
However, 27-year-old striker Hoarau has returned to training with the rest of the squad for the first time since undergoing surgery on his shoulder at the start of September.
