Laurent Blanc: Much more to come from unbeaten PSG

Paris St Germain coach Laurent Blanc is pleased with his team's unbeaten start to the season but insists there is still plenty of room for improvement.

The Ligue 1 leaders, fresh off a 2-0 win over Malmo in the Champions League, hit the road to face a Reims side that has won both of its home games so far.

"This (Champions League) result is a good omen for the season ahead," Blanc said to Ligue1.com. "We wanted to win and we achieved that, but I must confess I'm a bit disappointed we didn't score a goal or two more, because we could have done that.

"But the result is there for everyone to see."

Summer signing Angel Di Maria opened his PSG account against Malmo in Paris, while Edinson Cavani added the second to take his tally to five goals in three games.

The French giants, who had their 13-match winning run in Ligue 1 halted in last week's 2-2 draw with Bordeaux, are one point clear of Rennes at the top of the standings five games into the campaign.

Lyon will look to bounce back from their Champions League disappointment in midweek when they travel to Marseille on Sunday.

Alexandre Lacazette missed a late penalty as Les Gones drew 1-1 with Gent, who ended the game with nine men.

Marseille go into the game on the back of a 3-0 win at Groningen in their Europa League opener on Thursday.

Gazelec Ajaccio visit Guingamp on Saturday still looking to score their first goal of the season.

Ajaccio are at the foot of the standings with just one point.

Nantes are without midfielder Adryan Oliveira and striker Kolbeinn Sigthorsson for Sunday's trip to St Etienne after both players were sent off during last weekend's 2-0 home loss to Rennes.

St Etienne go into the contest on the back of Thursday's 2-2 result at home to Rosenborg in the Europa League.

Bordeaux, who followed their point against PSG with a 1-1 draw against Liverpool in midweek, host Toulouse on Sunday with both sides looking to clinch their second league win.

Monaco are seeking to end a positive week on a high when they take on Lorient at the Stade Louis II.

A 1-0 win at Ajaccio last weekend saw Monaco climb to eighth in the standings before being held to a 1-1 draw against Anderlecht in Thursday's Europa League opener.

Troyes have mustered three points from their opening five games and on Saturday travel to Angers, who are five points better off.

Bastia are looking to avoid a third straight loss when Nice visit Corsica on Saturday, while Caen will go after a second home triumph when they host winless Montpellier.
