Bordeaux have confirmed the signing of former Paris Saint-Germain striker Guillaume Hoarau on a free transfer after being given international clearance.
Hoarau, 29, was a free agent after leaving Chinese club Dalian Aerbin in November following a disappointing spell in the Far East.
Hoarau, who hails from the Indian Ocean island of Reunion and has won five caps for France, had already passed a medical and penned a contract for an undislcosed period.
The tall centre-forward scored 38 goals in 114 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG between 2008 and January 2013 and scored their winning goal in the 2010 French Cup final against Monaco.
He has started training with his new club and could figure in the squad Saturday's derby clash with Toulouse.
