David Beckham was named as a substitute for Paris St Germain in their Ligue 1 match against Marseille tonight as the former England captain awaited his debut in French football.
Beckham has been in full training with PSG for over a week and the high-profile match has been earmarked for his first appearance.
He was not named in manager Carlo Ancelotti's starting XI though, with Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti, Javier Pastore and Lucas making up the midfield four.
