Roque Santa Cruz scored a late penalty to hand Paraguay a 1-0 win over North Korea in a World Cup warm-up game in Nyon.
The Manchester City striker converted from the spot after Nam Song Chol was adjudged to have handled inside the area with just four minutes to go.
The South Americans were the better side in the second half, twice hitting the woodwork, after weathering spells of sustained pressure from Kim Jong-hun's men in the opening 45 minutes.
Paraguay were drawn in Group F at the finals alongside Italy, Slovakia and New Zealand while North Korea line up in Group G against Brazil, Ivory Coast and Portugal.
